About the Class:
In this voice over workshop, actors will touch on VO basics, mic technique, booth etiquette, script prep, voice warm-ups, and finding character voices. Each actor will perform commercial copy with redirects as well as practice commercial partner reads. Finally, each actor will have the opportunity to work with animation copy in a mock call-back style.
About Lisa:
Lisa Kay Jennings is an American voice actress best known for her work as Lila Rossi on ‘Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir.’ She’s also currently voicing Gina Hemphill Toms on Nickelodeon’s new hit show ‘Big Nate.’ In addition to animation, Lisa has worked in the gaming world including playing Tama in ‘World of Final Fantasy,’ and has voiced numerous commercial spots. Lisa’s On-Camera credits include a recurring day player on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and ‘The Jay Leno Show.’ She also portrayed Jane in the ‘Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior’ episode, Jane. Lisa received her B.F.A. in Acting from the Professional Actors Training Program at Wright State University. She has also trained with Upright Citizens Brigade, The Groundlings, and Steppenwolf West.
